TAMPA, Fla. (WFLA) — Over 500,000 Floridians were without power Friday morning as Hurricane Helene passed through Florida’s Gulf Coast.
Gov. Ron DeSantis said on Friday night that about 532,000 Floridians were without power, and power had been restored to 1.86 million customers.
Hurricane Helene made landfall at the mouth of the Aucilla River at 11:10 p.m. as a major Category 4 storm.

- Hernando: 1,814 customers
