Israeli strikes in southern Lebanon wounded 24 people despite a ceasefire in place for over six weeks, Lebanon’s health ministry said.
A drone strike in Nabatiyeh al-Fawqa injured 20, while a second attack near Zawtar wounded four. Lebanese PM Najib Mikati condemned the strikes as violations of sovereignty and urged international action.
The Israeli military confirmed targeting Hezbollah vehicles transporting weapons, stating it remains committed to the ceasefire but will act against threats. Under the truce, Hezbollah is meant to withdraw north of the Litani River and dismantle its military presence in the south.
