Italian prosecutor launches manslaughter inquiry after Sicily yacht disaster – video

-

Italian authorities announced that they are launching an official manslaughter inquiry after a yacht capsized during a storm off the coast of Sicily, killing six of the people on board, including British tycoon Mike Lynch and his 18-year-old daughter Hannah. Alongside Hannah and Lynch, the others killed in the yacht incident were the chair of Morgan Stanley International, Jonathan Bloomer, and his wife, Judy, Chris Morvillo, a lawyer for Clifford Chance, and his wife, Neda, and the yacht’s chef, Recaldo Thomas. Raffaele Cammarano, the prosecutor of the case, said the victims may have been killed because they were asleep when the storm hit.
