(NewsNation) — Julio Solano received a surprise recently when he returned to his car after breakfast to find a would-be thief trapped inside the vehicle, unable to get out.
Solano’s Corvette was parked in a Miami Beach, Florida, parking garage when its owner returned from breakfast to find the man inside. When Solano told the man to leave the car, the stranger informed him he was locked inside.
Solano captured the exchange on video from his cellphone, including the moment when the alleged burglar asked Solano for assistance in exiting the vehicle.

“My brother,” Solano told the man. “This is not your car. This is my car.”
The stranger popped up into view in a way that Solano described as being like a move executed by World Wrestling Entertainment’s Undertaker.
“He was helpless, he looked embarrassed,” Solano told NewsNation.
Police arrived shortly and ordered the man out of the car. Again, he claimed he was stuck inside and pleaded for Solano to free him.
“No, you can’t get out, ‘cause we’re calling the cops,” Solano is heard telling the man on the video.
Solano said that if the car is unlocked, it is possible to get in from the outside. However, if an occupant is inside and doesn’t have the keys, the lock won’t work unless the person picks at the master lock, which is located underneath the seat.
The man eventually found himself out of the car and was taken into custody by local police. The suspect faces burglary charges.
“I’m still in shock,” Solano said. “We laugh about it — my family and friends — my dad, my wife, my son. We just can’t believe it,” Solano said. “Thank God we’re safe and (that) no one got harmed.”
